Emily Swallow
Swallow started her Broadway career in the theatre, appearing in various shows, like High Fidelity at the Guthrie Theater and King Lear for Shakespeare in the Park. Swallow also performed in Much Ado About Nothing for Shakespeare in the Park and the world premiere of the Off-Broadway play Romantic Poetry, Measure for Pleasure. Swallow had her first film appearance as a character in The Lucky Ones, a 2008 military drama. Swallow was in the world premieres for Donald Margulies' The Country House as well as Louis Jenkins' Nice Fish both of which were held at Los Angeles' Geffen Playhouse. [citation required] In 2010, for her portrayal of Kate in The Taming of the Shrew, she received The Falstaff Award. Swallow and Jac Huberman who was a singer/comedian, created the stage play Jac N Swallow in 2012. They performed the show in the New York's Laurie Beeckman Theater, and Joe's Pub. The show is based on the comic misadventures of the two who face a variety of situations with different degrees of sanity and dignity. The show is in the process of developing a new series that is based on their characters. She worked along with Mark Rylance, poet Louis Jenkins as well as The Guthrie Theater on the premiere of Nice Fish. In 2016, she appeared in Center Theatre Group's production of Ayad Akhtar's disgraced. Swallow had her first role in a television show, Guiding Light. Later, she appeared as Southland. Ringer. The Good Wife. NCIS. Flight of the Conchords. Medium. And as Dr. Michelle Robidaux, the main character on TNT's Monday Mornings[2]. The role she played was FBI Agent Kim Fischer in The Mentalist. In the year 2015, she was the role of Amara in Supernatural's 11th season as "the Darkness". [8] Starting in 2019 she assumed the character in the role of Armorer on the Star Wars series The Mandalorian as the leader of the traditionalist Mandalorians. Since the traditionalists don't remove their helmets, her face is never seen. This is evident more so in Season 3 as the focus on the Mandalorian and the Mandalorians has grown.
