Lis Wiehl works as an American writer and legal analyst who previously worked as the Fox News analyst.
She currently serves as an adjunct professor of law of law at New York Law School. Prior to that, she worked as an associate professor at University of Washington Law School. She has provided legal commentaries for National Public Radio program and on Bill O'Reilly's radio show, The Radio Factor. She has been a frequent guest of The O'Reilly Factor as well Lou Dobbs Today The Kelly File With Megyn Kelly with Neil Cavuto and The Kelly File.
Wiehl was a graduate of West Valley High School, Yakima. Her birthplace was in Yakima. She earned a bachelor's degree in English from Barnard College in 1983, an MA in Arts in Literature at the University of Queensland in 1985 as well as a Juris Doctor from Harvard Law School in 1987.
Wiehl worked as a prosecutor in the US Attorney's office. She was the legal correspondent on NPR All Things Considered. She served as "the assistant chief investigator of Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee at the period of the impeachment of President Clinton." Her time at the University of Washington School of Law Seattle began in 1995 through 2001. She was the director of the school's Trial Advocacy Program. Wiehl worked as an analyst for Fox News Legal Analyst from 2001 to 2017.
