Andrea Anders

Anders is a native of Madison, Wisconsin. She was born and raised in DeForest but is currently at Los Angeles. She graduated in 1993 from DeForest Area High School located in DeForest Wisconsin. Then in 1997, she received her bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. Rutgers University awarded her a Master's of Fine Arts degree in 2001. Anders had a romance to Matt LeBlanc (whom she met during the filming of Joey) and her co-star from the cancelled show. Sean Anders, director of Sex Drive and Never Been Thawed (anders.com), is her older brother. The year 2001 was the time Anders started her professional career as a theatre actress. She was a student of Mary Louise Parker on Broadway in Proof. Then, in The Graduate she played Elaine Robinson. Additionally, she was in On the Jump on the Arena Stage and New Doors at the Guthrie Theater. The actress is also a part of Two New York Stage & Film Productions, Cold/Tender and New World Rhapsody. Anders debuted on stage in Fat Pig, a Geffen Playhouse show. Fat Pig, which closed its doors on July 1 2007 saw her play the role of Jeannie an accountant. Anders was first seen on TV in an ad for Dannon that aired in 2006. She then appeared on the show in the 90s. Anders one of her most well-known role is Nicole Allen, a former football player's spouse in The Class and Joey as Alex Garrett (a lawyer). In both instances she appeared in all of the episodes, however the shows were removed from the air. Anders has also been seen in guest roles on One Life to Live and Law & Order. She has made appearances as characters on The Guiding Light. Anders was on HBO for three seasons in the role of Donna Degenhart as early as 2003. In 2004, she also made appearances as Heather in The Stepford Wives in 2004, and Brandy in Sex Drive as Brandy, as Brandy in Sex Drive in 2008. Anders also appeared on Numb3rs in 2008. Anders is also featured on two unsuccessful TV pilots. Spellbound was one of them, as was News To Me another. Recently, Anders was cast in Better Off Ted, a single-camera comedy about work written by Victor Fresco for ABC.
